Lifeguard Training Course

The CnES Sport & Health team plan to offer a Lifeguard training course targeted at supporting staffing levels at the swimming pools in Lionel and Shawbost.

Tony Wade, Sports Facilities Services Manager said "We have had a number of expressions of interest but before we work on dates for the training course we are keen to offer anyone interested a final opportunity to get involved. The pandemic has caused us many issues including staff moving on to new positions etc and we are really keen to encourage members of the community to get involved."

Before agreeing a date for the training course we are keen to know how many people might be interested in taking part. If you would like to register your interest in this course please contact Tony at twade@cne-siar.gov.uk
