One week for households on traditional prepayment meters to redeem their energy bill support vouchers

The government is encouraging households on traditional prepayment meters to redeem their energy bill support vouchers.

The vouchers allow eligible customers to access discounts of up to £400 on their energy costs, which direct debit customers will have automatically received this winter.

The scheme will remain open until 30 June and customers can redeem the vouchers at their local Post Office or PayPoint.

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero has produced factsheets for advisors and for consumers on a traditional prepayment meter to help applicants receive the government discount vouchers.
