e-Sgoil Study Support 2023/24

Young people in Scotland studying for Senior Phase qualifications can once again access free, online evening Study Support webinars from e-Sgoil. Registration for the extensive webinar programme is now open, with webinars commencing this week.
Webinar sessions are delivered by fully qualified specialist secondary teachers. 51 different webinars are on offer every week during term time, covering all the larger subject areas and an extensive range of other subjects across National 4, National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher levels.

The service is focussed on delivering equitable access to all learners in Scotland and is completely free. Last session, almost all learners attending webinars rated the overall quality of their experience as excellent.

The programme, now it its fourth year, has been developed as part of the Scottish Government funded National e-Learning Offer, and continues to grow in popularity. Last year, 4735 learners from a total 320 schools registered, representing every local authority area in Scotland.

Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, Jenny Gilruth, said,

"I am delighted to hear that e-Sgoil will again be offering its Evening Study Support programme for Senior Phase pupils. The 2023 - 2024 programme, building on the success of last year's programme, will again offer a wide range of subjects at different levels. The Evening Study Support programme, along with many other formal and informal e-Sgoil programmes, demonstrates again the success of e-Sgoil and the benefits for young people throughout Scotland."

Full timetables, information on how to register, and a short video explaining what young people can expect if they sign up are available here on the e-Sgoil website
