New Questionnaire to Help Improve Communities in the Outer Hebrides

The Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership (OHCPP) is offering people across the Outer Hebrides the chance to influence their health and wellbeing, as well as the opportunities and services available to them, by contributing to a new online questionnaire.

The OHCPP is pleased to launch the online version of the Place Standard Tool, which is a questionnaire focused on you giving us views about the community you live in.  This information is then used to help agencies to work together to deliver high-quality places.

Cllr Paul Steele, Chair, Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership and Leader of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, said:

"By participating in this questionnaire, you can influence health and wellbeing, and the opportunities and services we have access to. This tool helps users, communities and professionals identify priorities for improvement by considering elements of your physical and social environment."

The questionnaire was developed by NHS Health Scotland, the Scottish Government and Architecture Design Scotland and is recognised for excellence in planning for wellbeing.

The survey usually takes between 10 and 20 minutes. It is important for us to hear about your community.  At the end, your responses translate into an easily understandable graphic.  All information that is gathered centrally is anonymous and abbreviated postcodes will be used as a guide to the area you are commenting on.

The comments and information provided will help partner agencies to identify gaps and form plans to improve your place.

We would appreciate your help by completing the survey by 28th of February 2024.
